Install in three steps

  1. Open the downloaded DMG. The installer shows PDigger beside your Applications folder.
  2. Drag PDigger into Applications. Drop the app onto the Applications folder and wait for the copy to finish.
  3. Eject the installer and open PDigger. Launch the installed app from Applications.

If macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet, choose Open.

Before your first recording

  1. Sign in with Google. Use the welcome screen, complete sign-in in your browser, and return to PDigger. A valid saved session may restore automatically.
  2. Acknowledge the public demo beta notice. Read the notice, select the checkbox, and choose Acknowledge and continue. The workspace stays locked until both steps are complete.
  3. Allow capture access. Use Request access to enable Screen Recording and Accessibility. Input Monitoring is optional. Quit and reopen when macOS requests it, then press Start.

PDigger is currently a public demo beta. Continued use of the service will require payment after a period that has not yet been defined. The requirement to pay may take effect without prior notification.

Update an existing installation

PDigger checks for updates automatically. Choose Download update, watch the progress, then choose Install and restart. You can also quit PDigger and replace the app in Applications using the new DMG. Existing history and your account stay on this Mac.

Version 0.1.36 answers questions about a named day, such as “what did I do a week ago on this day?”, from that day's recorded work periods, local midnight to midnight. Ask still widens to all apps and dates when a selection holds no recordings, and says so above the answer. Reviewed guides, matched on your Mac, help with how-to questions and are never cited as recorded evidence. Existing history, sign-in and account allowances are retained, with no new archive conversion. See upgrade details, release notes and verification limits, and installation instructions.
